Our partner, Makarios, operates a school in Montellano, Dominican Republic, where they do life-changing work!

Trinity supports their work by investing in their staff and leadership — helping sustain the amazing work they do each and every day. One way we have supported them for a decade is by hosting a retreat at a Young Life camp in the DR — all in the hopes of providing a space for rest, nourishment and fun.

In addition to the retreat, this year we want to raise money to add a bonus to their current salaries. The Makarios teachers make roughly half of what a public school teacher makes on average in the DR — which sensibly puts pressure on staff retention each year.

We invite you to give in support of these two wonderful ways to help sustain the work these men and women at Makarios do on a daily basis. A gift of $200 will help us reach our goal: to cover the costs of the retreat and to provide a bonus equal to two months' salary for each staff member.
